Extra broad and super glossy, deep reddish-purple, foliage with an elegant ascending habit, gives Cordyline 'Superstar' a distinctly, lush, tropical appearance. Large terminal flower heads appear in spring on mature plants, attracting birds, bees and other pollinating insects. Use as a garden or container specimen, focal point and fabulous colour contrast, or to impart a tropical effect on patio and deck areas. Plant in free draining soil, in sun or semi-shade, in a sheltered position. Water well in dry spells and groom old foliage frequently to maintain appearances. Evergreen.
