Dwarf, easy care, Agapanthus 'Brilliant Blue' (syn. 'Little Blue Fountain') is sure to impress with its massed display of rich deep purple flowers, held on strong stems. Once mature, 'Brilliant Blue' will shower you with blooms from spring to late summer, setting up to an incredible 100 flowers over the season.
Intense colour, coupled with stunning flower power, makes 'Brilliant Blue' a fantastic pot and patio plant. It will certainly provide the 'wow factor' when planted en-masse, or in drifts in a large border, and is a must for cut flower gardens and the vase.
But wait - it doesn't stop there! 'Brilliant Blue' is super tough - cold, wind, coastal and drought hardy, and will grow well in any reasonable soil with very little care apart from removing spent flower heads to maintain its handsome appearance. Agapanthus are also considered fire-proof - an increasingly important consideration in hot climes. Evergreen.
