GloBall (syn. Diamond)
PITTOSPORUM
TENUIFOLIUM
Pittosporum GloBall (syn. Diamond) is a delightful dwarf form with a compact, rounded habit, great for containers, placing either side of a path to demarcate an entranceway, or planted throughout the garden to create a visual, rhythmical effect. It's a vigorous grower, yet stays compact and round with a little judicious trimming. Tolerant to wind and heavy rains and withstands periodic drought, once established.
GloBall has grey-green pointy leaves, edged with creamy, pale yellow and bright new spring growth giving the overall appearance of a glowing ball! Easy to please, given a sunny spot in well-drained, well worked soil, a dose of controlled release fertiliser in spring and a light trim now and then to maintain it's architectural form. Evergreen.
