Ebony Leigh

LAVANDULA

ANGUSTIFOLIA

Bred in Blenheim, New Zealand, by lavender connoisseur Elsie Hall, Lavandula angustifolia ‘Ebony Leigh’ was selected for her rare, dark coloured, blooms and graceful, upright, habit. Deep blackish-purple flowers, which are very unusual in angustifolia varieties, are sure to see ‘Ebony Leigh’ become a favourite amongst lavender lovers. Flowers repeat bloom from the start of summer into early autumn, providing an excellent source of pollen and nectar for bees and other pollinating insects. A wonderful addition to a cottage style border or pollinator garden, and lovely for picking and drying. Plant in well drained soil in a sunny location. Cold, drought and wind hardy. Evergreen.
