HILLIER™ Porcelain Blue

CORYDALIS

FLEXUOSA

One of the best Corydalis to be released to date. ‘Porcelain Blue’ produces masses of vibrant, aqua-blue, flowers held in delicate looking racemes above blue-green, slightly bronzed, foliage in late spring, early summer. Delicate they may look; but this plant is extremely cold hardy and the best thing is that it repeat flowers profusely in autumn! Unlike many Corydalis that are summer dormant, ‘Porcelain Blue’ also holds onto its foliage over summer and keeps a tidy, stiff, upright habit. Best planted in well worked, free-draining, but moisture retentive soil, in full to part shade. Group plantings of 3, planted rhythmically throughout a garden border, produce a spectacular effect. However, this plant will create its own magic as a single container specimen. Evergreen.
