Pittosporum 'Pot Belly' is a dwarf form of the super tough New Zealand native Pittosporum crassifolium. 'Pot Belly' develops into a beautifully rounded ball shape, requires minimal trimming and produces dark red scented flowers from spring to early summer, making it the perfect container specimen. It is also a great choice as a contrasting architectural feature in garden borders and well suited to contemporary, minimalist, gardens. 'Pot Belly' has a high tolerance to salt laden coastal conditions and extreme winds. It is also drought tolerant, but to keep it looking its best, trim lightly in early spring to maintain shape, fertilise with slow release fertiliser and water in extended dry periods. Evergreen.
