Born in France in the garden of Thierry Delabroye, Heuchera ‘Kassandra’ is a cross between the famous 'Caramel' and 'Mocha' Heucheras. This true villosa hybrid has large ruffled leaves that add stunning texture to garden beds in colours that glow all year round. In spring, ‘Kassandra’ is radiant in warm orange and caramel colours, which darken to chocolate and maroon tones in autumn. Brilliant displays of white flowers held on sturdy stems flourish throughout the summer. This multi-talented plant is perfect for adding warmth to a container arrangement or a burst of colour in garden beds. ‘Kassandra’ is easy to maintain, just trim back old leaves at the start of spring. Foliage holds its colour best in shady conditions, so a semi-shaded to fully shaded position in fertile, free-draining soil is recommended. Evergreen.
