Not only does Gardenia 'Crown Jewel' flower twice a year, it is also pest and disease resistant and extremely cold tolerant compared to other gardenia varieties. 'Crown Jewel' forms a tidy, compact, low growing shrub that requires little attention. It is ideal for mass planting, adding fragrance to an entrance way, or containers. Plant in sun to semi-shade in well-drained soil (or good container mix) and fertilise in spring. Evergreen.
