Viburnum odoratissimum 'Coppertop' is a great choice for a low growing hedge, divider, gap filler, or screen plant. Its lustrous bronzy-copper to maroon new growth bursts forth in spring, setting the bush on fire and imparting a beautiful warm glow. Fragrant white spring flowers attract butterflies and other pollinating insects and make a lovely filler for indoor vase displays. Plant 'Coppertop' in well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded area, feed and water well to help establish and if you trim lightly in midsummer, you will reap the benefit of another beautiful flush of gloriously coloured coppertops by early autumn. Evergreen.
