Another stunning New Zealand native, this plant offers exceptional textural and colour contrasts. It forms a low tuft of elegantly arching, strappy green and deep golden foliage. Small starry, pure-white, flowers appear on and off from mid spring, followed by showy yellow berries in autumn. Looks fantastic mass planted, used rythmically throughout a garden border, or as a container feature plant. Best colour is obtained from planting in full sun. Reasonably drought tolerant, however regular watering will maintain its handsome appearance. Does not tolerate high humidity and extreme heat....
