The yellow and green, to burnt orange, hues of Corokia 'Welsh Whiskey' provide an interesting colour change in the landscape. Its compact form and strong upright stems, of slender oblong foliage, make it a great filler and textural contrast for garden borders, or interesting indoor plant in cold climates. Small yellow summer flowers turn into ornamental orange-red berries by autumn, calling the birds to visit for a feed. Corokia are quick to establish, thriving in any reasonable, well-drained, soil, preferably in an open, sunny position. They are tolerant of coastal conditions, wind and drought. Evergreen.
