Moa's Toes
The shiny, evergreen, leathery leaves of this gorgeous new Pseudopanax cultivar are a lush deep green to purple colour and resemble the toes of the now extinct Moa - a giant New Zealand bird which stood 3m tall. Leaf colour darkens with exposure to both sun and cold.
Plants grows best in full sun to part shade in a rich, moist but well drained soil. The thick nature of the leaves mean Pseudopanax 'Moa's Toes' is tolerant of coastal conditions. As with all Pseudopanax , maintenance is simple and confined to watering and feeding as required.
