Sought after for their coastal hardiness, disease free status and easy to grow reputation, New Zealand native Corokia are also excellent for clipping. Whether it’s a hedging plant you’re after, or something to mould into a more fanciful shape, Corokia is your plant! Corokia Clover is one of the best selections for clipping due to its short internodes, which make the plant a lot denser and more compact than other varieties. Left unclipped, Clover forms a lovely textural shrub in its own right. Plant in well-drained soil in sun to part shade. Evergreen.

Add a silvery green shimmer to your planting schemes with this special little native. Great contrast plant that makes a wonderful formal hedge or topiary specimen as it clips extremely well. Equally attractive planted in informal groups. Easy to grow. Evergreen. PVR. Corokia are tolerant of coastal conditions, very hardy and thrive in just about any soil though their preference is for an open sunny site. Very quick to establish. If not trimmed to hard the little yellow flowers will turn into red berries in the autumn that birds love.  

Corokia Limey has a lush green limey fresh look on uprigth stems with a grey tone.  Limey is a borderline hardy, compact, upright, evergreen shrub with broadly lance-shaped, yellow-green to yellow leaves and clusters of small, fragrant, star-shaped, yellow flowers in spring followed by bright red fruit in autumn.
